Check this out and see if you have any signs of depression and see who you may know that also has dealt with depression in their lives.

I am loving this infographic about depression. It has all the basic information needed about this condition. Thanks for posting this!

I seriously struggle with depression…but I don’t like how this post suggests that pills are the only way out. They’ve done studies to show that it isn’t a chemical imbalance…its a learned behaviour.

Much of depression has to do with not getting enough exercise. Lot of it has to do with being very socially isolated. Much of depression is caused by a chemical in the brain that can be helped by getting regular exercise.

I personally was scared to use pills for my depression. It was a tuft time in my life but I got past it with a lot of regular exercise. Now I am 15 pounds lighter/happy. With a new body; I am less socially isolated, and more outgoing.

I agree with “Hip Hop Music”, depression has a lot to do with not getting enough exercise! Whenever I exercise my body rewards me with good sleep and a sort of overall happy feeling without any reason. We shouldn’t rely on drugs to give us this feeling. Everything we need is within us.

Great infographic. I liked that you included the symptoms and warning signs. I think it’s very important for us to be aware of depression specially within our family and circle of friends. Being able to do this could make a difference between life and death.
