Losing weight, one diet at a time; one month at a time…
Diet Supplements – Do they help?
I’m all for using anything (within reason) that works. If you believe that taking diet supplements will help you achieve your goals – I would suggest using them. Much of dieting and weight loss is psychological. I tend to stay away from anything that sounds to good to be true, but a natural, healthy diet supplement can be very beneficial. Sometimes, when dieting you may not get all the nutrients your body needs to function properly. A multivitamin and or nutritional supplement can help deliver all the vitamins and nutrients necessary.
My friends over at DrugNatural have a great selection of diet supplements and many natural health supplements. I’ve been using DrugNatural for years and I can’t say enough good things about their product selection, customer service and especially their shipping – great rates and very quick!

I’m a bit cautious about taking supplements. I used to take some a few years ago – the effect was visible in a month but as soon as I stooped taking them, the weight returned (thanks God without extra pounds). Now I prefer simple dieting.

I dont think they help that much. They are just a quick fix for habits you must develop if you want to Shed Fat and keep it off.

I usually take calcium as a supplement because by body isn’t very good in retaining it. So for me it works!

I think vitamin supplements do help when dieting but I am very wary of anything that ‘promises’ to help me shed the kilos faster. The best thing for me to do that is to set my mind to it and the body follows what the brain believes.

I really have heard so many different things regarding supplements. Some people swear by them, and others say that you should avoid them and try to get your nutrition and weight loss mostly through mostly diet and exercise. I guess that sometimes they can help in the short term, though, as long as you research the supplement well before taking it.

I really believe supplements are great. I use various stuff like herbs and enzymes, and I can say they really help eliminate cravings. I think trying to diet without proper supplementation is like trying to mountain climb without the proper footwear.
the blog http://www.negativecaloriefoods.net has some great info on which foods are lowest in calories.

I believe it’s important to supplement your diet. Most people don’t eat as healthy as they should and most people don’t get the required 9-13 servings of fruit and veggies a day. When your body has the nutrition it needs you won’t crave things and you will be less likely to over eat. I reccomend all natural herbs and vitamins and not diet pills that can harm you. I have never taken those kind of pills. I have always eaten right and excercised and taken numerous herbs and vitamins. The times in my life when I got out of my routine of exercising are the times when I got rolls I normally don’t have. It is important to exercise as often as you can. Walking is very good for you and anyone can do it. Walk briskly at least 30 min. a day, you’ll be amazed at how much energy you have as well as feel better.
