We’re not too far into 2010 yet, but I’m thinking, it’s gonna be hard to beat these crab cakes from Funky Lil Kitchen. We decided to try a new restaurant last night and Adam had heard good things about this place. Pottstown, PA is not known for their cuisine or much of anything else. But, this newish restaurant is like being in center city Philadelphia and the food was amazing.
Apparently the menu changes too often to have a copy online, but from our experience last night, I can’t imagine that you’d be disappointed with anything they served.
I try and review my favorite crab cakes every year and so far, these crab cakes from Funky Lil Kitchen are definitely the best!
Check out the video of me and the crab on The Grub Hound.

The crab cake looks very good, but also very small. I sure the price of that crab cake is a good bit too. So tell us, did it feel you up, and what did you pay for that.
Lizzie, those crab cake look delicious. Nice portion size, too. Save one for me.
Gosh, those crab cakes in the photo look sooooo good. I’m curious if you know the calories?
Wow. Those look amazing. I had my first real crab cake in Maryland over the holidays and LOVED them.
How far are you willing to go to find a good crabcake? Just south of Baltimore you can get really good ones at Gunning’s in Jessup. Or you could come all the way down to Powhatan, VA, and ask my grandmother really nicely.
Not only are they tastier when they’re made with all crab meat and no filler, but I think they’re healthier. Because ounce for ounce, crab meat is better for you than bread crumbs.
I think if you travel to China, especially Guangzhou, Sichuan area, you will think you are in food heaven. These 2 places are known for food throughout China and Asian countries.
Those crab cakes look tasty, that`s for sure. Wonder if crab is bad for the cholesterol?
I want to try the best and tasty crab. My mother used to cook delicious food for us. We do enjoy dining with our favorite foods.
The crab cakes look enormous! My favorite so far is not really a crab cake, per se, but a “Crab Croquetta” from a restaurant called Asia De Cuba here in New York. They pair it with a Ponzu dipping sauce and it’s simply delicious!
Wow, if I could get my crab cakes to look that good I would eat them every day!
I love “Croquetta” and am pretty sure those are dutch. But aren’t those fried? Sounds delicious. There’s this place in called Tally’s in Santa Monica, CA that has awesome Crab Cakes. But like was mentioned above…quite pricy. About the same size as in the picture was going for $18.

i think that food is delicious but In that serving it is not enough for me.!
Looking very nice but I think this type fatty foo will not be good for health.
You are absolutely true its really one one the best: i usually offer it to my customs at the massage center and they all loved it.
Until December you have a lot of time to try out other crab cakes in other places and name the winner
Only one way to loose weight. Don’t eat so much!
I keep reading that fish is good for you, both oily and non-oily, so I’m making a determined effort to eat more of both types.

Do those crab cakes come in lo cal version or do I have to have the will power to accept some sort of portion control lol
That crab cake looks so freaking yummy. Is that the actual one they served you in the restaurant .
