After two weeks of Weight Watchers, I’m down 4.2 lbs!
Next week I should receive accolades for having lost 5 lbs - if I do lose at least .8 lbs. I believe that is doable, but I am going out to dinner tonight and I may be going to a birthday party on Sunday, so we’ll see how much I lose.
I stayed for the meeting again, last night. I sat alone, but that gave me the opportunity to play Spider Solitaire on my Blackberry. My addiction has now spread to my cell phone. Technology is great!
I was still able to listen to the speaker - which was the point for me joining. The topic last night was how to survive going out to eat. This includes estimating portion size, asking the waiter/waitress to have the food prepared for a special diet, and knowing which foods are under the “SetPoints” - meaning you don’t have to worry about portion control.
It was all good, but I didn’t win any games!

Congratulations! That is great. I have tried WW twice, but my results weren’t that great. Of course, I didn’t stay the course for longer than 2 weeks. For some reason I was so hungry all the time.
Amazin results. Same here really I tried WW before..couldn’t stay for too long ..Good on ya…

That is a nice improvement you need to keep it up, if you follow the plan step by step you will lost more within a short period.
Great Job! I am also trying to lose weight, I have been trying Medifast, but have been having trouble sticking to the plan. So much has to do with mentality and emotions for me.
i too want to reduce few pounds i already had used few other but didn’t got any good results hope this would help me. betfair
Congrats! I believe in the point system for dieting. I have never been to a WW meeting but I have followed the point system on my own with success. I tried an experiment for the last two weeks where I ate only Smart Ones, Lean Cuisines and Healthy Choice frozen dinners for lunch and dinner. For breakfast I ate a bowl of oatmeal. I lost 8 pounds during the two weeks.
Good luck with your journey.
Congrats on your weight loss! BTW, I just found your blog and I am so engrossed in it. You are so inspiring!
if this really working its great for peoples who want to reduce a few pounds, thank for the blog and good luck everyone who try this =)
I’d hate to have to look at a menu and estimate all the “statistical” information about the food I’m going to eat, along with price and what it’s going to taste like. Good luck!
This is great news we have been out shopping today to find a good exercise machine we want to either buy a elliptical machine or stair stepper.
Keep up the good work!!
Hey congratulations for losing weight…you really done a wonderful job thanks a lot….
Great job right there! How I wish I can do that in two weeks. I have been going crazy over these diets and exercise but my weight is still right up there. Anyways keep up the good work and stay fit.
I don’t know what it is about your site, but I find myself coming back to it all the time! The information is so helpful for everyone looking to get healthier and even lose some weight. I must say you really nail all your points and can see you have a lot of knowledge in this area. Hope you can check out my blog at every-other-day-diet.org
Thanks,
Pam
That’s great. How many more pounds do you want to lose? Can you imagine that those stupid Japanese women think that BMI of 19 is fat? I feel like hitting them on their heads to make them wake up
Congratulations! Losing weight is a difficult job but once you get going you won’t be able to stop. Keep up the good work
Thanks,
Mike
Congratulations! I’m still planning to loss weight though I’ve started listing some of the things I want to do to lessen my eating habit. Some of it are gardening, sewing and other stuffs. Hope it gives me better results and I hope I get lots of inspirations here.
That’s good…keep it up!!! I’m 170lbs before and now i’m 125lbs. It’s really important that we watch the food we eat. Also we need to exercise. Keep in faith.
Congratulations for losing weight on your weight. Keep it up. Summer is coming.
Hey there, an inspiring article to say the least. I am down 55 pounds, tried weight watchers, all sorts of diets, you name it.
Biggest thing I found that helped me was my will. When all else fails, that must remain - regardless of what is going on around you.
I wish you continued success, and strong will power
.
Best regards,
Pearl Rombis
Thanks Pearl - I find that I’m either eating a healthful diet or not. I’m an all-or-nothing kind of girl - which is a serious problem. I believe that I have never really embraced the “healthy lifestyle” but I still see myself as being on a “diet”. This is probably why I don’t have much success.
I find myself coming back to it all the time! The information is so helpful for everyone looking to get healthier and even lose some weight. I must say you really nail all your points and can see you have a lot of knowledge in this area.
Congratulations for losing weight but in personal opinion there is nothing wrong with a little overweight, but not excessive
Congratulations. I’m trying to lose some weight myself by working out at home with cardio.
