I’m always struggling and always looking for any help at all. I know that there aren’t any quick fixes in the world of weight loss, but are there options that can alleviate the “pain”? It’s also difficult for me to get the proper nutrients when eating a healthful diet or not. Can I possibly get nutritional supplements and weight loss supplements all in one pill?
I assume that not too many studies on the effectiveness of weight loss supplements have been completed yet – but, there are tons of these types of products on the market – all claiming that they will enhance your rate of weight loss exponentially. How can I know if they actually work? And, then even if they don’t necessarily make a significant difference in the rate or amount of weight loss – but they make a big difference psychologically – isn’t that just as important when trying to lose weight? The psychology of weight loss plays a considerable role in how successful the diet will be.
This is my next quest - find a well-balanced dietary supplement that could help with my weight loss. I think it’s possible and I must do my due diligence to find the right supplement. A friend of mine has a site that offers all types of natural health supplements - I will start my search there. Any suggestions or recommendations are welcomed and appreciated.

Hey there. I enjoy reading your blog. Keep up the good job!
i think they help but they may not be for everyone. some of them can make u feel less hungry and fill u with energy, but the best way to lose weight is naturally through proper diet and rigorous exercise.

I think that you are smart to take vitamin supplements if you are not eating enough in your diet. I don’t know about “weight loss supplements”….the dramatic “10lbs in a week” claims are enough tto make me suspicious and they all seem to make you feel anxious and jumpy.
The best I have heard of recently is Alli…however, it hasn’t been out long.
I agree with you about the “power of placebo” effect. Sometimes it is just as important ot your progress as the actual pill!
Good luck.
Hello I am the owner of http://www.fitness-nutrition-plan.com and I have seen too many people think taking a weight loss supplement as the easy way out. The truth is most of them just reduce your hunger. You can get the same effects from drinking the required amount of water you need daily. They may help you lose weight but once you get off the pills it goes right back on you. The only way to lose weight and keep it off in a healthy way is diet and exercise. There is no other way
Resveratrol can help you to lead a long and healthy life so says Dr. Oz.
Resveratrol Supplements can help you control your weight naturally
by increasing energy, reducing cravings, and limiting your appetite.
According to Wikipedia, Consumer Lab, an independent dietary
supplement and over the counter products evaluation organization,
published a report on 13 November 2007 on the popular resveratrol
supplements. The organization reported that there exists a wide range
in quality, dose, and price among the 13 resveratrol products
evaluated. The actual amount of resveratrol contained in the
different brands range from 2.2mg for Revatrol, which claimed to have
400mg of “Red Wine Grape Complex”, to 500mg for Biotivia.com Transmax,
which is consistent with the amount claimed on the product’s label.
Prices per 100mg of resveratrol ranged from less than $.30 for
products made by Biotivia.com, jarrow, and country life, to a high of
$45.27 for the Revatrol brand. None of the products tested were found
to have significant levels of heavy metals or other contaminants.
What helps in my opinion is a physical activity.
Do your exercises and you will be in shape
pills and tablets dont work. you cant substitute old fashion hard work and exercise. i was taking tablets and lost nothing. once i started doing simple things like taking the stairs for work. i lost weight. hard work pays.
from what i know, weight loss supplement is changing your appetite towards thing that u eat. and it also will effects your hormone. my advise is have a healthy lifestyle, keep exercising and you will be in shape..
agreed with some of the postings here..some might help for some..but not all…good luck!
I’d say that it depends on the specifics of your case. Consulting with a specialist might be a good way to find out what could work for you. Websites usually promise the earth and the moon, but the results are likely to be slightly, umm…less than what they promise.
The best way to know is to consult a specialist. Always choose to eat the right, balanced and healthy foods.
Alright so as for weight loss supplements they may work but for the most part I just simply don’t trust half the stuff that is in them. The only supplement that I would really recommend is a multi vitamin. The rest is up to healthy eating and good ol’ exercise.
It’s always good to consult an expert to check if the pill is right for your body.
It’s always the same, impossible question….lose weight without pain…i think it’s everything relative, what’s the pain for you? if it’s about eating some good hamburgers once a week, well you know better avoid these things, but i think that the solution is the “moderate diet” as i call it: a bit of everything in the reasonable measure, nothing more but nothing less.
I dont know how effective weight loss supplements are but i do know is that different chinese teas, like wulong do help you loose weight by speeding up your metabolism. At least chinese tea are a natural way of weight loss
I dont think that any weight loss supplements really work. If they did, everyone would be using them.
I would stay away from the stimulant type supplements, they are not a long term solution.
Supplements that have positive research behind them include Vitamin D, Fish Oil, Green Tea, Calcium and CLA.
I would say that eating smaller meals more frequently is the best method. It helps fight off the cravings and keeps you metabolism going.
The best way to know is to consult a specialist. It will best for you.
I’m a 41 year old male who is in very good shape started taking Longevinex resveratrol in winter at 300mg/ a day (three 100mg capsules) I didn’t notice anything until about the 7th day and saw a 5 lb weight loss over the next few days. It stunned me a little since I was only taking it for overall health benefits and not weight loss or the extra energy I felt. A friend also noticed the same thing. A woman I know who is thin noticed no weight loss.
There will likely be more news about this in coming weeks. It might be a good idea to wait, but serious weight loss pills , maybe resveratrol, maybe others, are coming.
ahh the eternal question…
ive had luck with some, no luck with others
but if i am not eating clean, running and lifting weights, im not losing any weight anyway.
I dont think that any weight loss supplements really work. If they did, everyone would be using them.
I find your blog boring,I don’t think you are telling the truth.
I think that they don’t really work….I think the only real way to lose weight is to eat better and exercise.
yes, lots of exercise and a balanced diet. take note: balance diet and not food deprivation.
It’s hard to find one pill that can do everything. I have found that healthy diet, exercise, yearly colon cleanse, and a one a day vitamin supplement works best for me. I know it isn’t anything special the hard part is just doing it for months without seeing any results but once you do and have patience its great!
i think they definitely can help, but usually dont solve the problemma. hence the term supplement

Your site looks great! I found your blog via Google while searching for victoria’s secrets and your post regarding Loss Supplements - Do they Help? - Lose Weight - Diet Program Review: FatLadySingz.com looks very interesting to me. I have seen many other so-called sites and they have been far from good quality.Your site has all the key ingredients to pulling in visitors.
Great stuff. Just make sure the pills you take are in FDA safe lists. There are to many supplements pills now days. Check my weight loss site for more insight of slimming pills.
Thanks and nice read.
Yes, I do believe that weight-loss supplements are helpful. I have a friend who lost 40 kg in 2 months with the help of a similar supplement. I think it was a nutritional yeast vegetarian support formula. I was willing to try this supplement too, but I think I better ask my doctor about it first.
