Emperor Anton - aka Pixelhead - suggested that I do a contest on this blog. When talking about what to offer in the contest he suggested that I put it out there for fellow bloggers to decide. So here are a few suggestions that I came up with:
- an item from the Fat Lady Art Shop over at Cafe Press
- a review of the winners blog
- free ad for the life of this blog
- other suggestions?

I would suggest an item giveaway, those seem to be most popular with my readers. You don’t want to commit to a lifetime advertisement either.

I think the review thing has been done to death. You should deffinately go with the fat lady art shop!
hmm I think a good prize can be a banner positioned between the post for a month! I bought it once from a guy and I had a lot of visitors
I think you could combine a few of those. How about offering a link for life and a site review, as well as a piece of art? That would be awesome. I’d enter for sure.

I suggest a free ad for the life of the blog and you get the domain name of the blog if it is not sold to someone else.
I definitely think contests are a great way. I run the pajama mommy community sep. from this blog and I definitely have found they are really great linkbait and promotional tools. You don’t even have to give away your own stuff you can find companies to donate products. I do it all the time!
