It is a daily battle to try and make good food choices and eat what I know is best for me. The benefit to making good choices is weight loss. I wrote on The Incredible Shrinking Ladies about my new commitment to make a lifestyle change. It’s one thing to have abundant knowledge about diet and nutrition – it’s another to put it in to action. So, here I go again. If I have to commit hourly to living a healthful life – I will do so.

I added exercise back into my daily routine this morning. Last week we were up on a “working vacation” in Maine, so we didn’t get to exercise. We had been going to the YMCA every morning for just 20 minutes. I know that isn’t much time – but being committed to doing it every day – that short time has made it doable. We plan to increase the time soon. For me – just getting to the gym is the biggest hurdle to overcome.
