Once again, I find myself at my “start weight”. I suppose that I should be happy that I did not gain any additional weight. But, I should know by now that a vacation does not mean a vacation from healthful eating – especially since we do tend to travel quite a bit.

We went to Maine last week as the Emperor wrote on my travel blog. Maine was fabulous and beautiful. We ate an abundance of seafood, which can be very low in calories and a healthful choice when prepared that way. Not when it’s deep fried and in a really delicious cream sauce.

Now it’s a new week; a new commitment to make good and healthful food choices; and a good attitude about losing weight and getting healthy – again. Today’s meals will include:

Breakfast – 1 cup Bran Chex @ 200 calories
Snack – String Cheese @ 80 calories
Lunch – JC Fish & Chips @ 250 calories
Snack – 1 cup grapes @ 60 calories
Dinner – Baked Ziti w/cranberry orange chicken sausage & veggies @ ? calories
Snack – Chocolate Chip snack bar @ 110 calories

That’s it for day one of my new commitment to lose weight.

* I’m buried under an excess of work, so I plan to get back to the gym tomorrow.
