If I could stay on the Outer Banks forever – I’d be one happy camper. It just doesn’t get any better than this. The island is so narrow that we can see the ocean from our front windows and a clear view of the sound from the back windows. It’s almost 80; there isn’t a cloud in the sky; I don’t want to leave. In fact, I think we’re going to see a Realtor tomorrow about how we can retire to the Outer Banks.

It’s all good. Just the diversion I needed.
