36 Days to Lose Weight

Today I struggled. I hit the pretzel jug several times - but it could have been worse. I think the stress of making the wedding happen in a very short time frame is making me run to the food. It’s also getting me farther behind in my work - this will intensify the stress in my life.

Breakfast - Triple Grain Crisps - cal= 190
Cookie Dough Vitamin Bar - cal= 110
Meatball Pocket Sandwich - cal= 260
Dinner - Meatloaf, veggies & Potatoes - cal= 300
Snack - Brownie - cal= 160
Pretzels - cal= 270

Total = 1290

Not as bad as I thought.

  1. A lot of times I will not feel like I had a good day, then I’ll be pleasantly surprised when I get everything plugged into my Weight Watchers points counter.

  2. Funny how that happens…. and sometimes, all it takes is something so small, but still so positive to make a huge impact in attitude which ignites motivation.

  3. That isn’t bad at all. I use air popped popcorn (plain since I have high blood pressure so have to eliminate salt) on days when I need food and the hunger is way out of control. I find it’s best to take care of the hunger or stress or whatever in a healthy way (like the few preztels you had) rather then try to fend off stress or hunger — cause eventually it can take over.
